Homestead Real Estate has been serving its guests in majestic Cape May, NJ for 23 years. They now manage over 300 properties and look to serve their property owners and their guests with the highest level of service.

As Homestead continued to grow, they noticed that their current processes were failing them. They were overwriting returning guests and creating duplicate guest records which started impacting the level of service they were able to provide.

“We were looking for someone who was an expert in the real estate industry and Salesforce. If we found that special company, the value would outweigh the cost,” said Micah Yerk, Broker – Manager.

When we started working with Homestead Real Estate, they were utilizing the Salesforce Classic platform. We upgraded them to Salesforce Lightning and implemented new business flow standards to help them work more efficiently and serve their guests more effectively.

When Mr. Yerk was asked about what their biggest concern was going into this project, he stated, “Redesigning Salesforce was on our minds for almost a year before we engaged Platinum Cubed. We were concerned about down time for a project that is central to our day to day operations. We could not afford a large negative impact on our business.”

Platinum Cubed was able to provide a smooth transition with no interruption to the daily running of business. We were also able to provide a positive experience that will leave a lasting impression on Homestead Real Estate guests, owners and their employees. 

Now, the entire Homestead Real Estate team is using Salesforce daily to manage workflow and coordinate between the rental specialists and leasing coordinators. Tasks no longer get missed or duplicated, but are automatically assigned based on where they are in the process. There’s no more wasted time sending extra emails or tracking someone down to make sure they know it’s their turn to take action.

Homestead looks to grow even more this coming year by increasing their rental base by another 5%. With their new Salesforce platform and a more organized workflow, Homestead Real Estate is prepared to grow for years to come and will continue providing their guests with great vacations.
